A new era of night train travel is dawning in Europe, with an exciting route connecting various cities, including Berlin and Brussels.
This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between France, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, aimed at fostering sustainable and environmentally friendly travel across the continent.
ÖBB, the Austrian railway company renowned for operating the largest network of night trains in Europe and a proud member of Railsponsible, stands at the forefront this resurgence.
The night train service from Berlin to Brussels operates three times a week, with a journey that takes approximately ten and a half hours. The fare structure offers affordable seat options starting at 49 euros for a one-way ticket, while comfortable sleeper berths are available from 79 euros. Premium sleeper cabins, complete with breakfast, are also on offer, starting at 109 euros.
This marks the beginning of a broader resurgence of night train travel in Europe. Stay informed about upcoming developments, including new routes connecting Berlin to Paris and Zurich to Barcelona in December 2023 and 2024, respectively.
